Your skin data is personal. We've built Skinli so the parts that are truly yours stay with you.

  • Photos never leave your device. Analysis runs and the image is not retained.
  • No selling of data. Ever.
  • Account info (name, email) is only used to sign you in.
  • Location is only used to fetch weather. Not tracked or stored.
  • Delete everything any time from inside the app.

Overview

Skinli ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Skinli mobile application.

What data we collect

Stored on your device only

  • Skin profile data — Your skin scores, journal entries, and routine history are stored locally on your device.
  • Photos — Photos you take for skin analysis are stored on your device. They are sent directly to the AI model for processing and are not stored on our servers.

Collected by the app

  • Location (approximate) — Used solely to fetch local weather data for your skincare routine recommendations. We do not track or store your location history.
  • Account information — If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email address to create your account.
  • Subscription status — Managed through RevenueCat to process in-app purchases and entitlement access. Web billing may be processed via Stripe. We do not have access to your full payment details.

What we don't do

  • We do not sell your data to third parties.
  • We do not store your photos on our servers.
  • We do not share your personal information for advertising purposes.
  • We do not use your data for data mining or profiling.

Third-party services

Skinli uses the following third-party services:

  • Google Gemini — For AI skin analysis. Photos are sent directly to the Gemini API for processing and are not retained by Google beyond the analysis request.
  • Open-Meteo — For weather data based on approximate location. No personal data is shared.
  • Apple / Google Sign-In — For authentication. Subject to Apple's and Google's respective privacy policies.
  • RevenueCat — For subscription management. See RevenueCat's privacy policy for details.
  • Stripe — For secure web billing checkout and customer portal management.

Your rights

  • Delete your data — You can delete all your data at any time from within the app settings.
  • Export your data — You can request an export of your personal data.
  • Opt out — You can opt out of location-based features at any time through your device settings.

Data security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Your skin photos and analysis data are stored locally on your device using encrypted storage.

Children's privacy

Skinli is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy in the app and updating the "Last updated" date.
